"When Connor was afraid to go to sleep saying the 'monsters would get him' I quickly drew a crazy monster on a piece of paper and scrawled 'No Monster's In Connor's Room' on it and it did the trick. The sign made him feel protected. I took my design to canvas and this series was born," said designer Amy Senftleben.
